How heavy are your balls?

LOL... Figured this would get hits.... For real, on my riggers  I'm running 8lb and they seem to be ok down to 50 ft or so. Some drift back but I guess ok. I wanted to fish for some lakers this August, North of the mountain? Should I go with tens? Since I'm here, spoons or crawler riggs?

    L/O----15 lbs for deep water w/heavy current. less drift.

    10 lb. tru trac, sometimes 12 lb. if 10's are dragging to far.
