I know this is late, being less than 48 hrs before the One Fly, but I need a partner. My friend who orginally was going will be out of town for work. I was going to take my 7 yr old boy, but I was up fishing on Tuesday and the tribs are low and fish are few and far between. I can't see him having enough action even for a couple hours to keep him interested. He gets ansy when panfish fishing when he doesn't get a bite for 10 min. All my other buddies have to work. If I don't get a partner I'll probably just show up and help Skip with the food and maybe hit Elk to at least wet my line. Anyone interested?

Looks like I'm gonna take minnie me. Keepin him home from school today and heading to Cabelas to get him some waders, would rather have him try them on before making a purchase. I'm sure the school will understand, LMAO. Wife didn't even argue, said he'd enjoy spending the day getting ready for tomorrow. Just hopin to get him hooked up with some fresh chrome.

Now the decission of the setup to have him use. Could have him use my extra flyrod, but seeing that he's never even touched one, probably not a good idea. So it looks like either the noodle rod or one of my spinning outfits. Probably take both and see how he fares with the noodle rod first.

Seeing that I just started getting into steelhead fishin last year, and still learning, if anyone see's usout on the stream and have any pointers for my boy, feel free to chime in your $.02

Many people on this board, myself included, are more than willing to help out!  Good decision getting Junior on the stream and getting him outfitted, he will love it....
