The material cost for the double wall woodstove pipe in my house was $800 (16 feet of pipe) by itself.

Not quite a fair trade.

Yea, 3 grand was the price of my wood stove, pipe and installation.  The actual installation was only $400.  And I got a small stove!  We replaced an old stove with a big crack in the back, because the building inspector required it to pass inspection.

Ive decided against the woodstove for now, just dont have the money for the pipe. What i ment to say was... you put it in, ill take you fishing.

Anyhow... im set on a pellet stove.

Good luck on the pellet stove... I know a guy who installs them and he meet his quota in August. They won't let him order any mroe until next year. They can't keep up with the demand.
