Just letting everyone know that I talked to Sherry at Walnut Creek and she said that the big rain didn't do anything but wash the sanbar out more into the lake. She said there was numerous boats that went out yesterday and that they said it was atleast 6ft deep. Just passing on the info for the people that are wondering for the upcoming Holiday weekend. Please watch for trees and debris becuase she did say there were some trees out there....

Im sure going to miss the days of hitting rocks in walnut, running into sandbars, and worrying about trees in the water.

You're right. They should have just commanded the rain to stop, and the creeks to remain in their banks. I seem to recall a couple of "highly touted" ohio marinas, along with a boat, or two recieving considerable damage a few years ago.
