Here are a few pics from our trip up on Tuesday. Unfortunately i was the only one who managed to land any, so no nice action shots. Had a few hits on some wooly buggers and minifoo's, but the rapala and flatfish did the trick. Got three in and broke 2 hooks on some nice hard hits (not to mention some old hooks).

Nice Drift...This was his second trip up and still hasn't had one in! We're not giving up!

Concentration is key! He had a few good hits, but has been in Alaska fishing for Salmon for the last 4 months as he was an intern doing Salmon studies. I'm pretty sure he ripped the hook right out of the mouth of every fish trying to set it so hard! LOL!

Choice Lure!

First fish of the day! Rapala Husky Jerk, believe it or not.

Fish two!

Fish three

OUCH!!!

Overall another great trip to the tribs. We fished alongside a couple nice guys toward the end of the day, one of which was kind enough to net one of the steelies i landed. Thank You Sir. I was sad to see my two fishing buddies couldn't get any in, but hopefully next time.

All three hit the flatfish/rapala so hard they almost ripped the pole out of hand! LOL. I usually try it out if i'm not having any luck with eggs or egg patterns.

looks like that steelbow almost swallowed that husky jerk whole.  I'll bet his/her mouth was ripped all apart.  Just an observation.

He did take it pretty hard, one of the worse hooks I've had. I did keep my two fish for the season (one hickory and one cajun Mmmm) and that actually had a lot of influence on my keeping them.
