Sorry for doing this moderators but since the post on the "PA Hunting" Discussion board was from 10 days ago, i figured i would ask all of these guys!

Anyway, This is my first year in Erie that i am actually going to hunt up here. I know that there are several game lands throughout the county, I just want to know where i could do some good squirrel or rabbit hunting around here. I am basically happy to get some time to hunt in between classes, and some advice from you natives would defiantly help point me in the right direction. I am basically looking to do some small game hunting, get some meat for the freezer. I went out to SGL 162 on saturday evening, but didnt kick any rabbits or birds up. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

A good place to start is get yourself a Pennsylvania Atlas and Gazeteer. About $20 at chinamart..
It lists all Game Lands and public hunting areas..
