Hello All,
As I said I recently had major surgery and am confined to a wheel chair for a few months but I still want to fish. Can someone please suggest a spot on ELk Creek tat this is possible other than at the boat launch. I have tried there but could not fish as it was too crouded.

Thanks in advance.

The Wall at the Walnut launch ramp would be a possiblity. It isn't specifically set up as wheel chair accessible, but it looks like a chair could  roll out there pretty easily. I'm not from the Erie area so that is just one suggestion based on my limited knowledge of the area.

I read your other post and you have some choices if you can wait another week or 2. The piers on the PI, north is good. Also if you can find someone that will squeeze you in on the wall at walnut, lower elk by the parking lot or 12 mile along the little wall there. Right now elk and walnut are your best chances but if we get enough rain to get the creeks up they will be more spread out, and so won't the crowds.

The Edward John headboat is great if you want to catch perch.

depending on the chair and your level of fitness, you might be able to wheel down the hard part of the beach at trout run.  You couldn't wade so you'd be better off past the crowds further down the beach, but this time of year you could do pretty well there.

thanks,
rick
