Pretty funny huh . A guide can take your learning curve down big time. Ive turned friends of mine into decent fly fisherman in hours. Rather then years. Not all guide teach you just where to catch fish. I for example will show you how to tie your own leaders, where to find fish, not just take you to them. How to figure out what they are eating. When do certain flies hatch. How to cast properly, how to build dropper rigs. If your guides are only taking you to and getting you on fish, find someone else. Oh, and skip the car, ill pick you up at any reasonable distance.
