Status: offline 		Great shots and looks like you had a lot of fun.  Just dont worry about what the others say because most of them are to old and grumpy to get out and have fun anymore.  And to all you guys a young man out there fishing is staying out of trouble else where.  I would be proud to have him fishing with me.

don't mind guru, he is one of us.  fact is, he is the only amish person that owns a computer.  and he can catch fish.  his purpose here, though, is to make us chuckle.  don't go nose to nose with him, though, because you will lose.

Status: offline 		he didn't post any pictures..and you guys are right he makes me laugh..went to walnut today after getting out early for the last day of school caught a fairly nice carp and 7-8 smallies..nightcrawlers and cloussers were the ticket..i got the carp pn a orange fly..i saw 6 or 7 steelies down at walnut all spread out..they woundn't bit though..well til next time tight lines

Status: offline 		kast, it must be nice to live so close to the water.  for a lot of us, it is a one or two hour drive and with the price of gas, we can only do it once in a while.  hope you find time to fish a lot during the summer.  i ran around with a bunch of bums when i was your age.  started fishing a local pay lake a lot and i believe that is what kept me out of trouble.  some of my buddies went to jail, some died violent deaths.  keep fishing, and keep posting.  rap

Yes, 1.5 hours for me if you figure in time stopping at the Country Fair where 79 ends on the way "up". I usually don't even sleep the night before. Ask Slick - I usually look like a rotting corpse by the time I start fishing.

Status: offline 		harry, i know what you are saying.  seems like the older i get, it takes as long to get my waders on as it does to drive the 90 miles up yonder.  the young man is lucky to have such a diverse fishery at hand.  closest water to me is half an hour drive.

Status: offline 		harry, i am across the line in boardman, ohio.  i fish pymy, both sides, mosquito, i have fished neshannock, though not in a few years, feeder creeks to shenango, and i plan to go down to beaver creek this coming week.  also, there are lakes to the west of me, but they are over-crowded, noisy and annoying compared to what you guys have in pa.

i do want to hit both arthur and wilhelm this year also, time permitting.

Status: offline 		I'm blessed to be 8 blocks from the bay, 10 minutes to the Lake, and a two cigarette ride to multiple tribs. I often bass fish on my luchbreak! Sometimes I take my whole crew of employees. Clear the peir...here they come again...In matching work shirts. We must look like a broke ass, dirty, 3rd rate bass team.

Status: offline 		yeah same I'm blessed to be so close to the bay..it only takes me 20-25 minutes full speed on my bike to get to the bay..the only problem is 2-3 poles, bag with food, fish supplies, light waders if possible, and if I decide to bring home fish for a fish fry..what a hassel..i wish I could live on the allegehny for a year..I wanna fish for walleyes, pike, muskies, and catfish all year round from shore but its nearly impossible in erie..however I'm thankful for everything God has givin me life, a great family, hard working parents, and the gift of living on one of the best fisheries in the world and a amazing gf..God is everything, be thankful for the situation your in, even if its not here its better then nowhere to fish
