Bait shops

Is there any bait shop open after 800 or any where to by minnows on the way up near i79

    Nah... Gonna have to deal with the mupheres at poor Richards. Went this weekend to buy a few egg patterns and the ****ing walnut circus beat me... Took me 25 minutes to buy a few flies. I feel your pain... Bro

    Buy a fly, fish for a day. Learn how to tie one, fish for a few days

    Like the fellows above stated...Cheaper to tie your own. And you get that feeling knowing you caught a fish with something you made.
     
    $14 for 100 hooks @ Poor richards.

    Do yinz all tie live minnow patterns too, because I'm pretty sure that's what he was asking about?  
     
    EZ, I'm a bait chucker too.  No bait shops on the way up 79 that I'm aware of to buy minnows, eggs, or sacks that are open earlier or later than Poor Richards is.  
     
    If you want some worms or grubs, jigs, soft plastics, or know how to use other stuff for steelhead, there's a Walmart right at the Edinboro exit, and also one right near the Erie airport.  In my past days of doing suicide runs to Erie late at night and fishing all night, I'd often hit one of those to get a few things before the Erie bait shops opened.
