cicadas

Anyone been using them for bait. If so how did u do. Thinking of getting a dozen of them to try.

    I've tied some flies that look like them. Had a hit from a carp but missed it. Where I was, there were so many, that I think the fish were done eating.

    We used top water poppers to draw in the carp, it actually worked.

    Few weeks ago, My brother took his kids down to the Aquatorium in Mon City for a kids fishing derby. Fish weren't biting because of so many cicadas floating on the water. fish just weren't hungry!
