Smallies in streams

Just curious if anyone has any info if the smallies are in the streams.  I usually bring my wife up for a day and last couple years missed it.  Think I was too early.  I don't have a boat and usually just hit elk.  Thanks for any info.  Don't really care what species of fish, just hoping to catch something but she likes the smallies.

Fished the creeks on Sunday and caught about 10-15 few smallies and handful of steelheads and stockie Browns. Creek was low and clear.
Was up two weeks ago and smallies were much more numerous. Run is definitely prettying much done. Usually is by the end of may once they start getting on the beds.
