Easy there fella haha! You got the itch already and theres still some fishing to do.. my guess is no prolonged ice thru april means warmer more stablized water temps. More natural effect on the migratory cycle should make for a run better then this year

Gill em to kill em then Rope em smoke em

It's gonna be great, we're going to make Erie great again!  There's going to be only the best people working on this run.  We're not going to make any bad deals any more, I mean, some of the past PFBC deals were disastrous.  That's going to end with the 2016 fall run.  We're going to win again!  Win so much you'll probably get tired of winning and it's going to be great.  Everyone will be happy.

I'm looking more forward to the Summer Steelhead season, time to break out the 'riggers and dipsies! Not that it is that accurate, but the farmer's almanac is claiming that this October will be 6° above average temperature and 2" below average rainfall. Not looking good for creek guys, unless you're fishing at the trout run mouth, hopefully we'll pound the open water fish and dropbacks trolling though!

The steel hit strong on the egg sacks, strong on the minnows, strong on the spinners, strong on the nymphs, they hit strong on everything.  Walleye are weak.  They aren't going to hit strong on the sucker spawn???  Look at them with their mirrored eyes.  Trust me, the steel jump like winners.  Let them have their little sissy perch.  We're going to go after the perch and their families.  We're going to use dynamite on them.  If I tell them we are going to use dynamite, they'll use it.

SALMONIDS FOR LIFE!!! Plus Drum and Suckers too, if you're me :). Although, we still need to protect the walleye and perch because they're native...

Drum and suckers are weak.  Walleye and perch steal the steel head's food and habitat.  We need to be strong on habitat.  Strong on food.  I'm probably the strongest on habitat there is.  We need to build nets around Erie, so the suckers and drum can't enter.  We'll have Canada pay for it.  I'll tell you how we'll have Canada pay for it.  It's called beer.  They've been importing their beer for decades.  We make bad deals.  When I am in charge of Lake Erie, I'll have the best people making deals.  The steel head will win.  There will be a lot of winning.  Trust me.

Preach that first one to the 'eye guys. For some reason they think that a fish that gets longer, wider, and taller bodied than walleye and fights fifty times as hard as them and in my opinion better than any Black Bass is a trash fish. Something about that seems a little, off.

If the 2017 run is truuely epik, kjh deserves a round of pittsbburggs finest brew-some ihhrrnn city light! It's the more betterest micro brew to take pics of with a big wet fly sitting next to. The runn has almost begunn.

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

I'm too focused on regular trout season and bass tournament season.. Will be back in Erie when the bass start hittin, therefore don't forget that #smallielivesmatter as well.

Now then, my prediction for next fall? The fish will run, some will prosper, some will struggle. There will be snaggers, crowds, and more. There will be complaints about no fish, complaints about keeping fish, complaints about not keeping fish, complaints about spot burning, the good ole "zebco 33/ blue powerbait" joke being used a thousand times, and more.
