Allegheny near frankli

Anyone fished their recently? Hows it been? I'll be near kennerdell fishing Friday. Thanks.

    Can only say good luck to ya fisher' and remind ya to take lots of pictures so, the rest of us will see what we are missin' not fishin'  Penn's Wood's best kept secrete.
     
    Flow data for the Allegheny show a near normal level at Franklin with a bit of a drop near Parker.

    Been years since I made it up that way to fish.  A work buddy had a cabin just above Lock #9.  Place was lousy with smallmouth.  And probably everything else, but nothing I threw in made it past the smallmouth tornado.  Good times, if it wasn't so far to drive.

    As of late from tionesta to oil city the fishing has been slow. 10 to 14" are normal. Occasional ones bigger.
    Water is super clear and the bottom can be seem throughout the river.
    Walleye hitting good in the deeper holes. Occasional Muskie/northern

    We did alright. As reported-very clear, spooky fish. Had a swipe from under large boulder from the biggest walleye I've ever seen. Third year in a row I missed him. Same boulder, same fish. Sigh.
