mammoth & northmoreland lakes

I just read in the Tribune-Review that these 2 lakes ONLY will be open for Canoes & Kayaks up to 16'. As of now there will not be a fee charged from the County ,but they must be registered by the state as they are else where. I think that they will be allowed on the lakes from 7a.m.- dusk from May 1rst - Oct.31. That is all of the info that I have. If anyone is intrested in more info they should call the Westm'd Parks office.  sam

Do you need a registration for kayaks?
