I was up last weekend and caught some, the ones we caught were nice. We were fishing up north in 3 to 5 feet, with minnows on a bobbin. The water temp was 54 to 56 in shallow and aliitle cooler on the main lake

Icenut Bill said it was slow on the northend last week. Will be heading up after we get some warm nights to heat the water up some.

Fished all day on wenesday fishing is still terrible We went back in stewerts bay and did manage about 20 small perch only 1 would have been considered a keeper. The water is just plain cold still we need a good stretch of nice weather not just a day every now and then. For awhile I thought it was just me but Ive talked to many there its same story.Looks like next week we may finally get it.

Twenty nice ones today and threw about the same number back.  Water temp read 61.1
Lake was really rolling when we left at 11  Linesville parking lot was full.  Everyone hiding behind the islands!  I thought the lake level would be higher

Was up there on the 2nd and caught at least a dozen dink perch in the lake and 1 musky at the dam...  I was curious where all the crappie were...  They weren't up in the linesville area...  And I was going to fish for eyes Saturday night in linesville but it looked like Fort Knox and after a short thought I refuse to try to fish for Eyes at night with people who leave the lights on... Just my feeling.  Is Pymie behind this year like everything else seems to be?  Or did I just hit a bad weekend even though it was full moon that night and no drastic weather shifts...

Was up tonight and like you said a bunch of dink perch , stayed until 9:30 , lake had boats on it but nothing like I thought it would be. Did get a few crappie and only saw one eye caught . Going across causeway heading home did't see any boat lights at 10:00 .....

There were a good number of boats on the lake that Saturday night (granted it was the Crappie Tournament) but, I'm just surprised with how many perch were being caught back in Linesville, normally we do well with Crappie back there...  But, I have been told if you find perch just move out because your chances of finding crappie there aren't very good.  Not sure if that is 100% true, but I have noticed that I don't catch crappie when I catch a good bit of perch...  I had the famous "I saw a guy with 1 nice eye leave before you got here" convo with someone that day but we all know how that goes.  I did see with my own eyes a gentleman leave Shenango dam with 2 very nice Walleye Sunday though...

Also thought the water was pretty low, not sure what the deal was there. I always put in down by Duck & Drake's never have trouble couldn't hardly get boat off Trailer it was really fun loading it by myself but we made it. First time up there this year ... Maybe I'm just getting old and like to complain 😜
