Weight

I started fishing an egg on top and beadhead nymph on bottom tandem and was wondering if when fishing it's it ok to place weight between the flies or will the fish see the weight and ignore the flies.

    Hey  Joe
Yes. Its ok to put weight between the fly's.
A lot depends on the fishing conditions. Higher water requires more weight to get the fly's down. Same with faster water. And in some conditions the same applies in slow deep pools. If your fishing fast deep water, then you might consider a split shot above the egg fly. Pay attention to the conditions and keep evaluating your drift. Some times the amount of weight needed can change simply because you took 3 steps.
