I fished a couple sections of Elk today. Leaves weren't bad. Could be a lot worse........

    Leaf us alone.

I was on upper Elk today. All of a sudden a flurry of leaves came down the stream. I looked upstream and a property owner was cutting his lawn and blowing all his leaves into the stream. Other than that the leaves were not a problem. Quite a few fish also. Lots of smaller Jacks and Jills this year?

Couldn't agree more with the last 2 posters. Had good numbers of fish in the riffles, however most were on the smaller side.
By smaller I mean 13-15 inches. Has something changed with the stocking schedule? Have never seen anything like this.

Ok... A new "condition" to consider... Leaves! Now not only to I have to consider: weather fronts, wind, rain, water levels, water temps, etc... Now I have to monitor leaves? So what's the plan of attack when there's a ton of leaves in the creek?
