the light spot it appears to be looking at shows up on one other photo at 4:44am

But it does not show up on 4 photos of deer in between those times... ??

No doubt the infrared is reflecting from the eye of another animal. Nice picture; I'm still trying to get mine to download.

Been trying to join your threads Doc but was having trouble with my downloads too.  Fishin Coyote tossed me a suggestion and it helped.

Remarkable what lurks in ones backyard at night.

    S-10,
LOL, Before I looked at the time stamp I was thinking wow the sun sure is bright at that time of the morning, something is wrong.
The spot on the pic could be an insect flying by or a spider

Doc, remove that foliage in front of the camera and your pics will turn out a little better.

I had a weed ( the kind with that puffy yellow flower on top ) grow right up in front of my camera. 5387 pictures in less than 2 weeks. Killed my batteries :(

    Ya gotta love it...........

Just wondering if any of yinz use a tri-pod when setting up. Really can't beat them when ya can't find a good tree, your on rough or sloping terrain and/or, your in them high weeds. I find mine exceptionally useful on the steeper slopes along the game trails. I can set up on either side of a trail, set the direction of the lens as well as level the camera.

Downfall.....security but, not impossible to secure to a nearby tree with a cable lock.

Shooting animals with a camera doesn't put meat in the freezer but, a picture can be worth a thousand words.

Waiting to see your next shot......

I've sailed the concrete oceans and the asphalt seas where, the hills and mountains were waves to me............  Good stuff; Big trucks bring it

I always look around when in the woods and nature calls. Didn't used to be a problem but last year I was on camera five times that saw me before I saw them. Hard to tell how many more I didn't see. If you want to see why you should never use a camera with white flash try walking in front of one at 5AM.

The infra-red sure do help hide your camera location at night in the dark ... BUT... I miss the color photos at night !!
