    So what is your point about the slightly smaller Walleye?

    The bigger ones just aren't in yet. The fish are behind due to the colder temps last winter and this spring. Give it about 2-3 more weeks. The big ones will be back.

    This weekend we boated 23 eyes and the two biggest were  7.5 lb each. I'd say the average fish was 4lb. So yeah, they were a little on the smaller side. That was ok with me 'cause the smaller ones taste better anyway.
