Ice On lake

Just was wondering if there is ice on the lake or on Presque Isle

    it wasnt a week ago that i heard on the news that something like 85% of the lake is covered.

    troutabout, i recognize kinzua ,n, chataugua, but what are the lakes west of them? is that pymy? how about shenango? be nice if there was an app. to put st. lines on that.

    The two most obvious ones are Pymy (the one that looks like an upside down J) and then Mosquito Lake in Ohio to the west of that.  Shenango is just about directly south of Pymy.

    Its good to see the western basin finally starting to break up!  Maybe we will be on the water by easter lol

    The channel is open and the CSL Laurentian just left port for Conneaut Ohio on route to Nanticoke Ontario. So there is open enough water to navigate.
