EMERALDS

What has happened to the emerald shiners on Lake Erie? All I hear is fat head minnows.
I was hoping to do some perch fishing this week-end but have never had much luck with fat head minnows.

    go at 5am and you won't have a problem getting emeralds.
    go at 8am and you'll be buying goldens.

    If you can get off of the point (almost to the lighthouse on P.I. actually) 62 f.o.w. - around sunrise, it doesn't matter what you use....drop it down, pull up a double...repeat! 120 keepers for 4 of us in less than 2 hours Sat. morning.

    Hammer, if you don't get what you want, I have had good luck just useing pcs. of Night Crawler.

    My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!

    gulp alive works fantastic and you can catch more than one fish per bait

    REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN YOUR FIRST BIG ONE WAS. TAKE A KID FISHING
