imo very funny fishing report on reports page
no offense to you doubletaper as it sounds like youre serious as a heart attack on your fishing report, but the fly rod being used like a "buggy whip" and the guy hooking a duck paints a hilarious picture.

Don't forget duck coming in, duck going out. I saw that happen a few years ago while fishing the wall. Finally managed to get the duck trapped at the boat ramp. Got five of us to get that duck and get the hook out of his feathers.

FOR SOME REASON, BEING OUT IN THE WATER IS PART OF THE FLY FISHING EXPERIENCE. SEEN THOSE GUYS STANDING ON THE FISH A THOUSAND TIMES. THEY EVEN HAVE TO GET OUT IN THE WATER AT 12 MILE WHERE THE CREEK IS ONLY 10 FEET WIDE. THEN OF COURSE, INSTEAD OF JUST BEACHING A FISH THEY HAVE TO GET OUT INTO THE HOLE TO NET IT. THEN AFTER 5 MINUTES OF POSING FOR THE CAMERA MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT RELEASING THE FISH. AAAH, TROPHY STEELHEAD ON A FLY.
