Knot Help

COuld anyone that uses lures or jigs to catch steelhead tell me what is the best type of knot to tie in order to prevent losing tackle and landing the fish? Does anyone know of a good website that illustrates knot tieing? I just do not want to lose all my tackle because I cannot tie a quality knot. Also, when using the mini foo jigs, how do you tie them onto a line since there is no hole to tie them to? Thanks for all the help.

hands down best knot site I have ever seen.
I would have to recommend a palomar if possible for tying the jig on....if not possible, an improved clinch knot will work well.

Im sure the clinch knot is on one of these sites theyve given you. its the only knot i use for lures n hooks. when your line breaks it will break at the weakest point. most likely at the knot. most knots use the line to keep its self tied, therefore cutting itself when to much pressure is applied. the clinch uses the eyelet to keep itself from coming untied leaving the knot as stong or stronger then the knot itself. when first starting using this knot it seems too complicated and time consuming but the more you use it the easier and faster it is. i can tie up using the clinch knot in about 15 seconds.
