Perch Shore Fishing

Anyone having any luck from shore (NOT boat) for Perch? I was told perch is Eries better tasting fish? Any reports or anywhere known where I might be able to catch a few?

    I've never had much luck perch fishing from shore. Bass, crappies, bluegills yes. A better bet for perch would be the North or South pier, or even the docks off the Bayfront Highway.

    Catching em like crazy  Landed about 100 perch then started for steelies landed 30 or 40 lost count......  Gotta have emeralds though
