they are a good release but they have there pros and cons if you are going to spend the money on one you are better off buying a back tension.

Grimm i watched alot of excellent shooters the last few months but still can't figure how a back tension release works.I found another release called the can't punch. It comes in the same model as the mongoose and little goose but with a trigger that you can't punch.I saw a 3 other guys yesterday struggle to with punching but they let the bow down.I would like to try one of these releases before i buy one anybody know where i can try one at?

chicken all are good releases the back tension which is all i shoot except for hunting i shoot a carter 4 target release which is a thumb ball but is not a ture tension.they work by a push and pull system push with your bow hand and pull with your bow arm all it is doing is squeezing your shoulder blades together and making the release fire. any shooter in your area will let you try theres if you ask them i am sure. if you do like it let me know i have abou 8 of them laying around that i will never use again and one with a saftey on it so it will not fire as you are pulling back.
