Emeralds vs. Golden Minnows

What is up with no Emeralds this time of year? I never had a problem getting any in the past from local shops such as Smitty's or Andy's stores. Anyone care to comment on golden minnows. I think they suck. Let me know if you see any Emerald minnows for sale anywhere please. Thanks a bunch.

    Gander Mountain has emerald shiners.  They are already dead and in a bag.  I've caught steelhead on them before.  Good luck.

    Goldens don't suck - they bite and chew! Caught two nice limits of perch (big fish)on them - maybe because of their size and more of a meal for the bigger fish!! ?????

    any local shops have Emeralds yet? If not, when do the shops usually have them?
