Where 2 go Sunday?

I'm gonna head out Sunday.
Any advice where to try, on the big pond, after a big blow like this.
The first trench, second trench, or even maybe out north east marina.

Anyone want to meet and tag team it?

Actually went out there a week and a half ago for the first time. Went out to the north side of the mountain and started trolling in 90 feet. We caught 2 wally's in the 110 foot range. Was marking them at about 55 feet so I ran the #1 dipsies out about 180 at 3 1/2. I think we might have been alittle on top of them but from what I hear it's better than being below them. The 2.5 is what I believe as the average trolling speed for walleye. I know trout like it in the 3 to 3.5 range, but then again it is what they are feeling like hitting at the time so you never know and that is why I always change up my speed until they start hitting. I'm no pro but it has worked fairly good for me this year. I just started really targeting walleye this year. I hope someone else will chime in if they have a better trolling speed formula. I'm always up for trying something new. If you go out tomorrow I should be out in the afternoon so hail me on 68. Should I call you goose on the radio or just Dave?

Hey Goose, how did you do today? I wasnt able to make it out. I had to run to Ohio to pick up some boat seats for my friend. He won them on ebay and was suppose to pick them up this weekend. His wife had other plans though. She decided to have thier first baby yesterday so needless to say he wasnt able to go. A new born and friends is more important than fishing, but just by a small margin.
Boy, you guy's left early. How far do you have to travel to get to the lake?

Just saw your post, Sounds like an awesome day. What speed did it seem like you were hitting them at. Saw Trap Jaws post, do you use a gps? Congrats on a great day. Hope to see you out there next weekend.

    ss "taz"
    Just got done "filleting"

Its been awhile since I had to fillet a limit of walleye. First time limiting out of the " the big pond."
Thanks for the advice about the trolling speed. Between the speed adjustment and hearing someone holler out they're hitting blue and silver, filled my ice chest.
The speeds I used was about 2-2.5, I think. Regardless it was faster than what I normally do.
Thanks everone else who also posted my responses, any advice is always appreciated.
Taz---- I will be up again this weekend. Are you?
The reason getting up early, I took my father in law, he has no rods or reels, and hard to get going.
Im out of Beaver Falls, PA

Had my boat out for the first time Sunday as well . We brought in 7 walleye just beyond the perch back off walnut in 71 foot of water off purple / black harnesses ( 40-60ft) thermo. We have plans to be back out next weekend . Any chance of a location for your findings ? Off elk , How far out? Heard the blue color suggestions over channel 68 no luck on em ; just the purple. Also had two breakoffs on weldon harnesses ( wire part broke ? ) my 20 lb fluro leader survived ? Any help appreciated ...
