North East Walleys?

Hello all.

I see/read a ton of Erie fishing reports regarding catching walleyes west of Presque Isle and/or Walnut Creek.  What I haven't seen is many reports of good walleye fishing off of North East.  Is the walleye fishing at North East off this year or have I just missed the good news?

    I have wonder about the same thing. Since D&D charters retired from the fishing wars you never see North East reports. Surely someone is fishing that area.

    fishing has been very good this year, slowed a bit after the weather last week but they are around.  Perch fishing has been very slow this year out here.

    bald_guy, I've been wondering the exact same thing. I'm heading up this weekend for a Walleye trip. At this point, I'm leaning towards heading out North of Northeast.

    just like every other place one day good next bad if the school is there its good if not its bad.

    It hasn't been 2 hour limits but steady action and the fish seem to be on the large size.  Like hunter said on and off
      Perch has been on and off off of shades.
