New amenities in Erie County

A few of the new amenities for the fall season:
-Trout Run parking has been expanded with more parking coming.
-New splash Dam just below the "stop sign" hole at the Walnut  Creek access area.
-New safe harbor at Shades beach is set to open toward the End of September.With more to come. :)Chris

    Are you saying there is a gated dam below the stop sign hole???? or am I mistaken as to what a "splash dam" is???

    He refering to the same type dam as the V logs upstream. It has been very successful in keeping that hole cleaned out, so another is being built.

    Gottcha... are you being sarcastic with the "cleaned out" comment(or what do you mean). That hole above the logs looks good, although I don't think I've ever caught a fish out of there and I always wondered why.....

    Actualy, he's talking about the hole that is formed below the logs.
