2nd trench steelies

2nd trench steelies

fished 2nd trench this evening and ran into steelhead city. 4 rods all going at once. This was my first time fishing that far out (north end of the trench) 5 walleyes but caught about 15 steelheads and broke several others off. I was just wondering if this is common for the second trench or were we just lucky ?

    This time of year it can be common.  August is prime time out there.  Heard the corner (north of the 2nd ditch to the Candian line, where the PA line meets the OH line) was good too.

    No fluke, my friend marty hammers the steelhead out there.
    We really dont pursue them much in Erie.
