if your coming to erie just for smallmouth its not really worth it this time of year. if you are coming for vacation and just want to fish a day, stay in the bay and fish for largemouths. they are caught anywhere in the bay. you may even hook into a big smallmouth.

hi ron i have a small motor on a med. size boat and love to walleye fish Ive been fishing out of north east because of it. I like to troll or drift what i'd like to know is which do you like best for walleye drifting or trolling and if there are any places within 3 miles of a launch in erie that is as good as northeast.
