Upcoming Events and Projects


East Side Stream project on 12 mile Steam Saturday July 28th at 9 am. We will meet at the mouth of 12 mile. There is a tree that was blown over about 3 years ago and now it is causing a lot of problems in the stream .The tree is causing the stream to form an island down stream from the cement wall and erosion on both sides of the island. With the tree laying from one side of the bank to the other it prevents a lot of steelhead from going up stream. So the solution to fix the problem is to remove the tree. We are going to need some volunteers and some tools to do the job. We are going to need a few chain saws, gas and oil to cut up the tree and we are going to need a couple of Chains big enough to drag them to the bank. After the task is complete we will have a small cook out (hot dogs, chips, pop) We can use all the help we can so if your interested and want to sign up and have tools contact  mrpintail@adelphia.net




This fall the PSA will be attending and manning a both at the 26th Annual Ducks Unlimited, Inc. Pymatuning Waterfowl & Outdoor Expo September 15th & 16th 2007. Located in Linesville, PA on the shores of Pymatuning Lake. We will be Renewing Memberships, selling Big Run Banquet tickets, so if you around that way stop in.     Skip the Perseus House project was last May working on a winter project with them now.

    I can bring a big cooler-jug of lemonade.  It sounds like thirsty work.  What kind of tools might be needed at this point?

    So far we have Chain Saws and login chains.We might need a Axe or a few shovels.
