Should have read Mike Bleeches report this morning before trying to launch out of elk at 5:30 am. There is a bar all the way acrossed the opening except for a slot three by 8" deep. Walked in this evening to see it. At least fish can get in but need good flow to open. We ended going to walnut and running to Trout run. Saw two guys catch a couple jacks at the opening. Saw a couple fish jump and a bunch rolling. Thing ended after sun got up over trees. We stripped streamers only caught one smallie.
