I haven't fished Edinboro on soft water in a couple of years, but I lived in Edinboro for 7 years and I was one of the few people that fished it for 'eyes. Edinboro is way underated for walleye and there are some huge ones in there. The numbers aren't as high as some lakes, but fishing pressure is light. A couple things to try: I used to watch for boiling baitfish around dusk off green point or curtze point. I would cast a crawler harness with a small to medium barrel sinker and cast past the boil and retrieve through it. Depending on the depth you are at, adjust depth by counting down the rig until you get a hit and repeat when you do. You could also slip-bobber/jig these areas, but use a larger jig and larger golden shiner or you'll just get molested by the panfish. The largest 'eye I ever caught on Edinboro (30.5") was caught by throwing a large floating rap off the north side of the point where the outflow is...more towards the bay though where it gets a little more weeds. Early morning or late afternoon through dark are best. Good luck.
