I didn't know you were from Chicago!

I vote early EVERY year! But will not vote for judicial candidates that I know nothing about, and almost always vote against retention of judges a 10 year term is long enough.

are there laws against people placing signs in your yard without permission?

several times i found yellow sign for a local mayor candidate and his friends in my lawn, several times i threw it away. it kept coming back...

RoundUp.... kills the roots.

Technically they were probably in the right of way for the road, which again is technically illegal on a state road, technically it is illegal to take a sign down. Reality, they look at none of that so rip them down if you don't want them there. I allow no signs on any of my property without permission. Next time just get a roll of red duct tape and put a diagonal line across the sign and leave it up for a couple days and see what happens.

it was just one of those plastic signs 2x3' with the metal braces that sticks into the ground.

i recycled them. they were on every corner in my neighborhood for weeks. just bugged me that i removed it several times, and they didnt car. if he wins i'm going to contact him as a concerned citizen.

with that said, i did not exercise my civic duties yesterday.

Yea, the state road right of way is typically 33 or 40 feet, in most cases. So, go 22 feet from the centerline of the road, and put your "this guy sucks" sign there. And if one of those guys takes it down, hammer him.

Someone put a sign up in my yard. The wife took it down. We used the paper to start a fire in the fireplace and the steel rod was cut down to make a stake for my turkey decoy. That's recycling. Oh yeah I voted. Very close race for Erie Co. executive.Still not decided as of today.w_w.
