Reports say they're at Trenton.

Hows the fishing? Always wanted to try for them. My daughter lives in Devon , may go visit late May. Are the shad gone then?

Saying the shad run was dismal this season is an exageration. I made it down to Easton twice and between me and the dozens of boats I think I saw maybe a half dozen caught.

Its winding down but if you want to play numbers think about a trip to Conowingo Dam in MD. 100+ fish days from shore are not uncommon plus you get the fun of trying to land em before monster stripers grab em sometimes

Havnet had much in the way of info except that they were "up" here about 2 weeks ago in decent numbers. I do remember catching fish in the past in April but it was always better in May for me.

The lack of rain I 'm sure did not help the run as well
