I was wondering if any of you guys fish Deer Creek in the delayed harvest.  I'll be down there around the second week of June and was hoping it has some decent hatches and rising fish.  Any help would be great.  Thanks.

Loopy,

Never fished it, but I will see what I can find out for you.

Loopy,

Deer creek is a marginal stream at best.  Only has a few decent holes in the delayed harvest. Unless it continues to get stocked, most of the fish will be gone.  I don't know what kind of hatches it gets but I imagine they would be similar to any creeks in the area.  Watch out for the golfers.  Good luck.

Got a few last week on some CDC's and Elk hair caddis,20's & 24's. There are alot of fish in there now. Like sagebrush said only a few holes.I fish the entire creek, and you can find trout there all year, just have to do some walking.Pine creek is only 20 minutes away and probably a better choice. If you want a tour guide let me know, show you around.
