It washed up on the beach on the tip of Long Island NY. Take a guess at what it is... or what the scientists think it is....

NOTE: There is a fly on it's left shoulder for size estimation.

lmfao spoon. It looks like a boxer with its tail not cropped off. Could be a reason it was tossed?

There is "a government animal testing facility very close by in Long Island," but unless the government is trying to design horrible Montauk monsters that will eat IEDs and fart fire at bad Iraqis, we're not sure why they would create such an unthinkable beast.

Guess is that it's viral marketing for something. Ali Lohan's new album perhaps

It's someones lost pet nutria

According animal expert Jeff Corwin, he said it's a RACCOON! It's a little decomposed, but, the lower canine teeth are visible.

for some reason the link spiker provided has changec the picture.  The first picture I saw on this link clearly looked like a dog with its snout partially decayed exposing the skull. I think Jeff Corwin is smoking crack, I cant believe thats a racoon.

I don't know, if you enlarge the picture the front paws sure look like raccoon paws to me.   Long skinny fingers.
