fishing is has been good .  lots of fishing pressure scattering fish.  i have been using my sonar to find fish in 20'-30' ft . mostly crappie with a bullhead or two.

Wow the crappie are still that deep? Or have they spawned there already? Thanks for the fast reply!

I believe they have spawned already. I was there 2 Sundays ago, the water temp was @ 68 or so. i found them in 10-14 ft of water. I caught alot but not many over 9-10". Good luck and enjoy.

Was out a few days ago and caught a few.  Nothing to write home about, that's for sure.  Maybe the spawn was done early this year.

Fished last Sat between two of us we got 72 and 28 good keepers.  We only kept fish over 11".  I think we are heading that way tomm. after we do some turkey hunting. They were just starting to get into the spawn heavy last weekend.

I did well yesterday(5-9-08) on untipped jigs & got a bonus nice sized channel on a green curlytail. My buddy caught 4 small (16-18") musky on a spinner. He was told by a couple fishing next to him that they had caught a trout. The no wake zone bouys were put in yesterday for those boaters that can't read the map at the ramp.Water was good ,don't know if the rain changed that or not.  sam
