Status: offline 		Well after gathering some information from my buddies here on the forum, it seems as though i need around 50 posts to reach the next rank on this forum. New angler is dumb, i look forward to the next rank. Still not entirely sure what it even is! but exciting nonetheless.

Status: offline 		hey oth, glad to see you back.  hope things are better for you.  naw, some departments are down to four days.  unexpected as this is our busy season.  heard it is going to get rough after the holidays.  but there are a lot worse off the me, so i have no complaints.  glad, again, to see you still here, guy.

Status: offline 		Hi Rap. I do hope for the best for you with your job. What really sucks in the uncertainty with the future, IE: Jobs. Things around here are getting pretty poor. Jobs are tough now. Took a little longer to hit around here than most places. Hopefully it will pick up next spring (?).

I'll still stay with the boards here. Too many good people, good info and laughs to give them up. I think it will be back to normal soon.

Getting ready to go play with some steelies. Get some R&R and clear the head.... Just the  guys, a little bit of freedom from home. Been too long. Should be a great trip.

Status: offline 		you have a good time.  been that kind of year for me, too.  man, i get near the water with a rod in hand and it is like a panacea.  i swear i have more spiritual moments fishing than i do in church (that does not include walnut creek, though).

Status: offline 		NY state. Closer than Erie for me. I know what you mean about sprituality and the outdoors. Always felt that way but more now than ever. With the fall colors now, it's very humbling to be out in the field.  No bullshit, pressure, bossman, and yes I will say it, wife (lord knows she's a hell of woman and I mean no disrespect). Getting out gives a person room to breath.

Status: offline 		dan'l boone always said that a man need elbow room.  my wife always senses when i am close to hitting the wall.  she gently says that i should go fishing or something.  very wise woman, she is.  seems as though it is tougher to get away these days.  when i do git...i always come home with a lot less weight on my shoulders.  looking up fish can do wonders.

People make fun of fishermen often and it's probably because of the way we act on forums. Now let's all show each other that we care about fish and in the long run that is all the really matters!!!
