Has anyone here had any experience with warranty work from Cortland Line Company? Sunday I broke a rod--in the truck tailgate I'm afraid. I'm the original owner of the rod and did register it online after I bought it and am wondering if anyone has any experience with their warranties. Do they stand behind them or not, and if they do charge for repair/replacement, are the charges reasonable? I was so ****ed when I broke it. Reminded me of the Bill Dance outtake I've seen.

I know nothing about Cortland..........some companies offer a no fault warranty........others only warranty the product if it was broken or damaged because the rod was flawed on their end of things.........some companies are cool at times and will just replace the rod anyway..........

slamming it in the tailgate........sucks.......I would call them and speak directly with someone...that is the only way you are going to get a TRUE answer

i believe its a lifetime warranty. but if you don't have a back up i think the salmon river sports shop does repairs. if you're in the area check them out
