Their getting a fair amount of walleyes on leach's and rapalas near Pentergast point. Some dock fishermen are doing good so they are in fairly close.

Was up there Wed. from 10 am till 4 pm. We hammered the perch in the Prendergast boat launch area all day. Nothing big but it would be a good place to take kids. 8-9 inch fish. Caught them on crappie jigs and fat heads. Still hit on dead bloated minnows. Very hot out !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was up two weeks ago. You may want to PM a fellow on this sight that goes by the name "viperbass". I was on the dock at @6am and he and his wife coasted into the docks near Bemus pt. He made one flip with a creature bait and fish on...I read my paper and sipped coffee. I then gave him kudos for catching a bass on the first flip. Turns out He actually lives on 50 miles from me in PA but has a place on the lake. After a little BS session we come to find out we both visit this sight...SMALL WORLD. He knows his stuff, I could tell it was not his first rodeo.
I promised my girlfriend I would leave the rods at home and that we would spent quality time at the Lenhart hotel doing the tourist thing....I lived vicariously through Viperbass for 20 wonderful minutes...The rest of the day spent at tourist traps sniffing candles with names like bemus blueberry pie and bemus point pumkin pie etc..By the end of the day even I became emotional, had cramps and took several Midols before bed. After a couple of tear jerkers on the Oxygen channel I fell asleep in the fourth floor oven we stayed in....the hotal Lenhart has NO airconditioning...or maybe I just had a hot flash. Anyway PM Viperbass... he was "the Man" that weekend.
