The are near Wrightsville consistently produces nice channel cats, as does the York Haven dam and the mouth of conewago creek. Earlier in the spring, the warmwater discharge at Brunners Island is a hotspot, too. At Wrightsville there is a boat ramp by the old John Wright factory (now a restaraunt). You can wade out to a chest deep channnel then it gets shallower. Fish upstream to the rt 30 bridge and watch the edges of the weed beds. If you fish downstream, the old bridge piling of the market street bridge hoold some nice fish, too. All you need is some chicken livers or strips of raw bacon work even better.
