I'm new to the forum and usually fish for smallies/LM's. I'm looking to do some night fishing this weekend and looking to tangle with some channel's. Anybody have a suggestion? I know shenango and pymatuming is decent, but I'm looking for somewhere different.

If you live remotely close to Lake Erie you have lots of options.

good job on the spot burning fishingfool

all kidding aside, hes not kidding. any spot on lake erie can produce some cats. some days are better than others.

wait for a calm night and heave hoe your finest stink bait. good luck and take care.

CUT BAIT WORKS WELL. IF YOUR UP TO IT, GET SOME CHICKEN LIVERS AND LET THEM SIT IN THE SUN FOR A FEW HOURS. BY THE TIME NIGHT FALLS, THE LIVERS WILL BE READY FOR THE WATER. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR PASTE BAITS, TRY THE STORM PRODUCTS IN THE TUBES. THEY USUALLY PRODUCE WITHOUT THE MESS OF THE PAILS.
