Thinking of tyring for Brookies in tribs that feed the Clarion.
Any suggestions?
Was on Tionesta Creek a couples weeks ago and enjoyed a small trib feeding Tionesta near rt 116.

almost every stream has native brook trout. I threw my minnow trap in to get some chubs and ended up with three small brookies, that was saturday. My place is on the river in Clarion county. There are still quite a few stocked brook trout if you can get away from the parking areas. I imagine its the same for the upper clarion tribs.

Buy a PA Delormme Map booklet.
It shows a lot of topographical detail.
