Made plans to take some vacation time from the ole JOB back in january of this year just to do some steelhedding. Managed to get the week of the 17th of november off. Boy did i get lucky this year. With the rain and then the snow plus colder temps, made me squeal like a little boy in a candy store. Conditions the last few days have been perfect on the east side tribs. Im fortunate that it takes longer to dress for some steelie fishing then it does to get to the crick. I couldnt have asked for a better start to this week of fishing. I couldnt believe how so few cars there were in the area i was going to fish. At first I thought,was this a dream or just lucky enough that more people couldnt make it out the last 2 days. Just lucky i guess. I caught enough fish both days to make me forget about how cold it really was. Temps holding at the freezing mark both days. Picked off the ice build up on the eyes from time to time. No matter, it happens. I will be there for the next 4 days. I cant take myself away from the spectacular conditions. I must go back. Only other guy there was from Boston, John if you see this it was a pleasure to fish with you and I hope to see you back here sometime in the near future. Here are a couple of pics id like to share with all of you from 11/18 and 11/19, I hope you enjoy. Good fishing to you all.

That was probably his lead fly, the dropper nymph was firmly embedded in
the steely's tongue.

Yesterday was some great fishing....great people I fished with...I enjoyed the show that Pin_Drifter put on for us...one heck of a fisherman...I think he had gills under his neck warmer

LMAO pa, I think i deleted it. I could not find it in my phone pics anywhere. If you all wanna know what pafisher is talking about , pafisher managed to catch a beautiful piece of shale. Somehow his line wrapped around a rock and he landed it successfully. The rock was not snagged it was a legal hook up from what i could see.
