Status: online 		I shall be endeavoring to persuade a number of steelhead to come willingly into my net.  If that fails then I will have to fish for them.  Just for giggles I may print up some 50% off tickets and leave them out in the mall.   It won't say anything else just: 50%off any item in the store.  No store name, no address.  I love watching folks try to figure it out.

Status: offline 		we are making the trip up from punxsutawney, i figured it would be packed as all get out but my steelhead partners work normal jobs so they get what they can take as far as vacation days and time off.  Hopefully we can get into some steel and get into some beer at the avonia tavern!

Status: offline 		Last year I came up in fished that weekend, I can't remember if it was Friday night we stayed or Saturday night but we started calling around for a hotel and couldn't find a room.  After calling a bunch we found the last room at the motel 8 on the east side.  Some guy told us there were bus loads of people coming over from Canada to shop which lead to the shortage of rooms.

Status: online 		I am hitting NY for fri-sun...maybe hitting erie in afternoon sunday and staying until monday depending on if i decide to buy a hunting license to shoot a deer the first day...steelie fishing seems more enticing though. I'd rather stand around a bunch of fisherman with hooks than guys with guns and no sense of direction

I'm on kid duty also. My wife and her sisters leave to go shopping at like 1am, and she calls me crazy for waking up to go fishin all the time.

Status: online 		there actually was a guy i went to high school with that worked in a day care up here in Erie and was doing a physics lesson and taped 2 kids to the wall.  The whole thing went to trial and he was found not guilty of endangering a child and other crap.  I thought it was funny, they were taped there and he moved the table out from their feet for like 5 seconds.  I guess all the kids were having fun and laughing, even the taped ones.
