I started using these things this year for trout and have had really good success suprisingly.  I fished them under a float wacky style and they have accounted for some fish in the 20 inch range this year.  I have heard that people use these for steelhead but I havent yet, I want to start messing with the spin rod more this year for steel and was just wondering if anyone has used these with success.  They seem to be a good bait, even though they have the Power Bait name on them.

Status: offline 		I tried them Loomis.  The pink and white ones.  Never got a fish on them....not saying they won't work, its just so hard to get away from the jigs.  The day I tried them, we were slamming the steel on Elk with the jigs, so I tried the wacky worm with no luck.  Went back to the jig and the floats went back under!

Status: offline 		Loomis!!! buddy i have not posted in quite awhile but you struck a nerve with me on this one YESSSSSS  and i mean YESSSSSSS THEY ARE AWESOME MAN. I HAVE BEEN DOING REAL WELL ALSO ESPECIALLY ON THE PINK WORMS really these things work awesome but i fish them a little differently i use a sz 10 red octopus hook hook once in middle then i drift them on the bottom.usually 1 bb shot but more if needed i did notice though i catch more rainbows on these and palominos really dig them great to hear someone agrees these do work

Status: offline 		Used the regular 3" power worm with a jig and just a hook on the pin,with great success. The natural 3" have been working with the stockies. Haven't tried the steelhead worms yet.The pink,white,chart. & natural colors seem to work,but as always have to change them up often if throwing at the same bunch of fish for a while.

Status: offline 		I use them trolling from a boat for stocked trout at Canonsburg Dam and serveral of the stocked lakes in the northern panhandle of WV. I rig them with a #8 straight shank baitholder hook threaded through the nose and a #12 salmon egg style hook threaded in about 1 inch from the tail. then about 3 ft 4 pound fluorcarbon leader tied to a small barrel swivel. add enough split shot (I put the shot on the leader) to get to the desired depth for that day troll with about 75ft of line out and start cathing. Troll at a speed that allows the worm to swim like a snake and it will if the hooh placement and speed is correct although they will still bite even if they are spinning. I have not had a day in the past few years where this did not out produce trolled joe flys or anything else that was used that day by me on a second rod. usally I just end up using one rod the one with the 3 inch power worm seems like every color works.
Try it, these stocked lakes are put and take otherwise I would not have posted this.

Status: offline 		Awesome definetly going to stock up the arsenal.  If any of you have watched the bcextremehd.tv videos you can see they are using a pink worm on pins, this is where I first got this idea to try it at.  Kokanee you are def right Pallies seem to like this thing, don't know why but I had one at laurel hill that was fished for for hours by numerous people slam it on the first drift through (didnt come to net though).  Gonna have to try some of the other techniques mentioned here.
