Has the state experimented with stocking these fish anywhere other than Raystown ? If not, reasons or thoughts as to why ? And is the rumor true that the state  is going to be putting more browns in Erie in the future ?

JEB,

I am not sure about Raystown, but as far as I know more browns are planned to be stocked in the tribs starting this year with the hope of a larger fall run.  I don't have the details as to how many fish or where they are going to be stocked.  It is my understanding that the increase in browns is to help provide more variety.  Personally, I would love to see more.  They are really beautiful fish and tough fighters.

I heard the rumor too, I was just wondering if it was valid. I wonder if the steelhead stocking will be reduced due to the increase in Browns.
I can't wait to see more browns in the Erie tribs, I do love them NYers.

Ohh man I hope they stock more browns. As I've just taken up fly fishing, my ultimate goal is to land a 20+ brown on the fly. I'd love to do it at Follys.
